Archive ERP output straight into d.velop documents
InterformNG2 produces your invoices, delivery notes and order confirmations, and files each one in d.velop documents in the same step. Every document lands in the right category, with the properties your users search by. InterformNG2 can also fetch documents back from d.velop when a workflow needs them.

When output and archive run separately, gaps appear
The archive is often fed by a separate export, a batch upload or a manual step. Documents then arrive late, land in the wrong category or miss the fields people search on. Someone has to check that what was sent matches what was filed.
One workflow produces the document and files it
InterformNG2 creates the document from your ERP data. In the same workflow, it uploads the document to a d.velop documents repository (formerly d.3ecm). The category and properties come from the same data, so each document is indexed correctly with no manual step.
Connect
In the InterformNG2 tenant settings, add a d.velop documents connection: the server URL (d.velop cloud or your own server), an API key created in d.velop documents, and the repository to use. You can test the connection from the same screen. You can set up several connections and choose which one each workflow uses.
Archive
The To d.velop Documents workflow component uploads the document to the category you choose. It sets properties such as customer number, order number and document date from the ERP data.
Retrieve
The d.velop Documents to attachment component searches d.velop by category and properties. It adds up to 25 matching documents to the workflow as attachments.
What the integration does
Files to any category
You refer to a category by its display name or its d.velop ID. Categories and properties are defined in d.velop documents, so your existing structure stays as it is.
Sets metadata from ERP data
Add as many properties as you need, including the fields d.velop marks as required.
Creates a revision or a new item
If an identical document already exists, you choose: add a new revision to it, or create a separate item. Identical means the same category and the same property values.
Handles more than PDF
The file name you set determines the file type in d.velop, so PDF, XML and other standard formats are filed correctly.
Retrieves documents
When more documents match than the limit, the newest come first. The workflow records how many were found, so it can handle a search with no matches.
Works across your ERPs
Infor, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP and IBM i output all reach d.velop the same way. See document archiving for the wider picture.
Where customers use it
Resending a copy
A customer asks for last quarter's invoice. The workflow fetches it from d.velop and emails it.
Payment reminders
When you send a reminder for unpaid invoices, the workflow fetches the matching invoices from d.velop and attaches them to the reminder email.
Audit and retention
Every outgoing document is on file from the moment it is produced, with its index data.

Common questions about the d.velop integration
Do I need an extra licence?
Yes. The d.velop integration is a module of InterformNG2.
Does this replace d.velop?
No. d.velop documents remains your archive. InterformNG2 writes to it, and can read from it.
Does it work with d.velop cloud?
Yes. You enter the server URL of the d.velop instance you connect to. For d.velop cloud, this is your company's d.velop cloud address.
Where is the technical documentation?
In the Help Center: d.velop support, d.velop configuration, To d.velop Documents and d.velop Documents to attachment.
