Xerox Alcalá is an official Xerox dealer in the Madrid region, founded in 1991. It supplies Xerox print and document technology to businesses across central Spain.
The range covers Xerox printers, multifunction devices, scanners, large-format equipment and consumables, for everything from a single office to high-volume production printing. Alongside the hardware, Xerox Alcalá provides document software, IT support and maintenance, and sizes the fleet to the customer's actual print volumes.
Xerox Alcalá supplies and services the Xerox devices at its customers' sites. InterformNG2 is the software that feeds them: it takes data from the customer's ERP or business system and turns it into the documents the business runs on - invoices, delivery notes, labels, picking lists - formatted correctly and sent to the right printer, email address or archive.
For shared customers, the hardware and the software are specified together rather than bought separately and made to fit afterwards. Xerox Alcalá keeps the devices running; InterformNG2 keeps the documents correct and consistent.
InterformNG2 drives Xerox devices through native PCL rather than a desktop print driver, and adds PJL commands to the print stream to control trays, output bins, stapling and punching, and to pass accounting information. None of that requires changes to the application that produced the document.
InterformNG2 is independent of the ERP. It works with Infor, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics and IBM i-based systems, so customers can change, upgrade or move their ERP to the cloud without breaking their document output.
