German ERP vendor for medium-sized manufacturers. InterformNG2 Output Management for ORDAT.ERP customers across DACH.

ORDAT GmbH & Co. KG is an ERP vendor headquartered in Giessen, Germany. Founded in 1970 and owner-managed, now in its second generation, it develops ERP software for medium-sized manufacturers. Its own platform, ORDAT.ERP (formerly known as FOSS), is a cross-industry, modular system with dedicated versions for automotive, plastics, electronics, metals, process, food, make-to-order and series production. ORDAT has more than 270 customers and has completed more than 750 ERP projects.
ORDAT.ERP runs on UNIX and Windows servers and is not tied to a particular database. ORDAT also delivers Microsoft Dynamics 365 (ORDAT D365) and has been a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner since 2006. The company is strongest across the DACH region and supports international roll-outs, with particular depth in the automotive supply chain, where EDI and just-in-sequence delivery are everyday requirements.
ORDAT and Interform work together on ORDAT.ERP projects. ORDAT delivers and supports the ERP; Interform supplies InterformNG2 as the Output Management layer beside it, with training and second-line support for the ORDAT team. Customers get the documents and labels they need without commissioning custom ERP development for each one.
InterformNG2 takes the data ORDAT.ERP produces, from sales orders, purchase orders, deliveries, invoices and warehouse movements, and turns it into finished documents and labels. Templates are designed and maintained by business users in the Intelligent Designer, so changes do not require ERP development or a full release change.
ORDAT.ERP supports the EDI standards the automotive supply chain runs on: VDA, ODETTE and EDIFACT. InterformNG2 adds a library of OEM automotive labels and shipping documents (VDA, GS1, SSCC), so suppliers meet standard OEM output requirements without custom development.
InterformNG2 generates XRechnung and ZUGFeRD directly from ORDAT.ERP data. In Germany, businesses must be able to receive structured e-invoices from 2025, with the obligation to issue them phased in from 2027 to 2028. The compliant invoice is produced as part of the normal ORDAT.ERP output run, with no separate compliance product to license or run.
