About Soft-Consult
SOFT-CONSULT Häge GmbH is a German software and IT consultancy based in Langenau, near Ulm in Baden-Württemberg. Active since 1989, when it began advising Mittelstand companies on the IBM AS/400, it now supports more than 100 mid-market customers with 20 to 5,000 employees in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The company is ISO/IEC 27001 certified.

How we work together
Many German mid-market businesses run core operations on IBM i. Those systems produce a constant flow of documents and labels: invoices, order confirmations, delivery notes, statements and barcoded output. InterformNG2 produces every one of those documents from a single Output Management platform and delivers them to the right destination.
Soft-Consult is an IBM Power Systems partner and has worked in IBM i environments since the company started. Interform develops InterformNG2 and provides Output Management expertise from Denmark. Soft-Consult scopes each project, installs the software, builds the document and label templates against the customer's own IBM i applications, and supports the result in German across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Output Management on IBM i
InterformNG2 runs natively on IBM i, so there is no Windows client to install and no separate server to run. It reads the spool files and application data your systems already produce (SCS, AFPDS, IPDS, XML) and turns them into finished documents and labels, delivered by print, email, PDF or EDI.

Business users update layouts, logos and fields in a browser-based designer, without IBM i programming. Automated workflows route each document to the right destination, and native printer languages (ZPL and PCL) drive label, barcode and RFID printing at full speed in the warehouse and on the production line.
